A Note About Reliability and Uptime
While hosting is offered on very reliable Windows 2002 servers which should
seldom crash or malfunction, it is not possible for any hosting
company to guarantee 100% uptime. There are also times when software
updates or security patches that have been issued by Sun Systems
need to be installed for optimum performance. Sometimes these installations
require a short period of down time and/or a system restart. Xylaworks
guarantees 99.0% uptime, with the 1% being devoted to routine maintenance.
It is also important to realize that if your site is not responding,
it doesn't mean your site is down. You may be experiencing a general
or localized internet outage. It is recommended that you always
try pointing your web browser to one or more major web sites, such
as Google or Yahoo,
to see if these sites are responding before calling for support.
